How to install EasyEdit Viewer on Windows - manually

EasyEdit viewer works After Effects СС18 and above, Premier Pro CC19 and above
( one extension is installed for two programs at once )

you can install EasyEdit Viewer by one click from official adobe extension store or install by installers:

Step 1

 Install EasyEdit Viewer using with zxp Installer

  1. Download aescripts zxp-installer


  2. Extract easyedit viewer archive and open easyedit.pro.viewer.zxp file with zxp installer


  3. Reopen After Effects or Premiere Pro and  check Window -> Extension -> EasyEdit Viewer Enjoy 🥳

Step 2

 Set up After Effects for proper work

Turn on the checkbox . "Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network" in Preferences. This need for success activation

allow script in cc16,17,18

 Change Expression Engine for After Effects CC19 

Change expression Engine to Legacy ExtendScript. This helps avoid expression errors

Install The Packs

Method 2. Manual installation EasyEdit Viewer (Alternative)

  1. Download the latest version of EasyEdit Viewer
  2. Got to "Alternative install" folder inside the downloaded archive
  3. Copy “easyedit.pro.viewer” folder to: 

    Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions
